Concrete Testing

Whether you’re pouring the foundation in your new home or building a skyscraper, the concrete should always be tested during placement. Testing concrete ensures that the mix on site matches the mix design and engineering specifications used during the design of the structure.

E2K has CCIL certified concrete labs in both Edmonton and Calgary, with trained and knowledgeable technicians ready to provide support for your project.

How Do You Test Concrete?

E2K provides concrete testing from our Calgary, Edmonton, and Canmore locations as per relevant CSA and CCIL procedures and regulations. Typically, we will collect approximately 50L of concrete, test the air content using an air meter, test the slump of the concrete, and cast three cylinders to be tested in our CCIL certified concrete lab.

If you required concrete testing, or have any questions about the process, feel free to contact us.
